Age Of Aquarius @ 1945

Dear Brothers,

As we know, there is ample and evident proof given by the Tibetan regarding the commencement of the transition period from the Piscean to the new age of Aquarius. The precise point of commencement for this new cycle is given by DK as being 1945 with the release of energy from the atom over Japan for one. There is also some controversy over another date of 2117. It is one I have recently stated to be invalidated by the 1945 and 2035 dates given by Master DK.

Here for our consideration is some relevant, and in my mind, highly important evidence that the new Aquarian age did commence with exactitude at 1945.

The Tibetan and the Year 1945:

The vision in men's minds today is that of the Aquarian Age, even if they recognize it not. DN 152.

3^rd Occult 100 year cycle and War:

The period of this interplay of three major energies and their focused potent effect upon our planet began in 1875, achieved momentum in 1925, will reach its highest expression (for good or evil) in 1945 and will then decline slowly until 1975. These three constellations are: Leo, Capricorn and Pisces. These are curiously and most mysteriously related to the fourth kingdom in nature and therefore to the evolution and the destiny of the human family. Add to these the emerging energy of Aquarius. EA 537.

The fusion of Piscean energy, generated during the past two thousand years of Christ's spiritual activity and the Aquarian energies to be generated and active on Earth during the next two thousand years, or two thousand five hundred. RC 98.

In June, 1945, at the time of the full moon (so significant a day in the spiritual experience of the Christ), He definitely and consciously took over His duties and responsibilities as the Teacher and Leader during the Aquarian solar cycle.

He is the first of the great world Teachers to cover two zodiacal cycles - the Piscean and the Aquarian. RC 82.

At the center of this Triangle the Christ took His stand; from that point His Aquarian work began, and it will continue for two thousand five hundred years. Thus He inaugurated the new era and, upon the inner spiritual planes, the new world religion began to take form. RC 83.

The sign Aquarius (into which our Sun is now entering) is that of the Water-carrier, the man with a pitcher of water. RC 80.

This passing of the Sun into the sign Aquarius is an astronomical fact, as any one can ascertain by writing to any observatory; it is not an astrological prognostication. RC 80.

If the word "initiation" signifies the processes of "entering into," then it is indeed true today that humanity is undergoing a true initiation as it enters into the new age of Aquarius. RC 82.

It is only now that the full purpose and the work of Saturn for humanity can reach a point of group usefulness, for it is only now that humanity has reached a point of general and widespread intelligence which can make any choice a definite conscious act, entailing responsibility. EA 249.

Today, there are countless numbers and hence the intense activity of Saturn as we enter into the first decan of Aquarius and hence the same activity because humanity itself now stands upon the probationary path. EA 249.

In this transition period through which the world is now passing and in this interlude between two activities - that of the Piscean Age which is passing and that of Aquarius which is coming in - Libra will eventually rule, and the end of this century will see the influence of Libra steadily coming into pronounced control.

Before 2035 A.D. such legislation will be universal in its sphere of influence and control. All this will come about because Libra rules the present interlude and might be regarded as "the master of no-man's land," as one of the Masters of the Wisdom called it lately. EA 238.

No-man's land is a veiling condition according to DK, a period or cycle not defining one state or the other entirely. Therefore we have at present an inaugurating period [by the Christ] or the entering into the "ante-chamber" of the New Age of Aquarius, but the new age of Aquarius none the less. 2035 may reasonably be seen as the entering into fuller Aquarian energies and the gradual leaving of no-man's land. It was to the definite performance of His duties as Distributor, Nourisher and Dispenser that He pledged Himself in June, 1945, and entered upon His responsibilities as the Forerunner and the Teacher of the Aquarian Age. RC 86.

During the war (1914-1945), the Christ and the Hierarchy looked on at a dying world; men and forms were dying on every hand; old ideals, organizations and groups were passing away and the specter of death stalked on every hand. RC 90.

At the time of the Full Moon of April 1945, during the Easter season of that year and covering approximately a period of five weeks, the Forces of Restoration began their work. RC 90.

Following this inflow, at the time of the Full Moon of the Buddha in May 1945, the forces of enlightenment became active, and light began to stream into the minds of men. These are, in reality, the energies which initiate the new world education. RC 91.

In June 1945, Christ set in motion the forces of reconstruction which are related to the Will aspect of divinity and which remain as yet the least powerful of the three streams of energy, released during the three Full Moon Festivals in 1945. RC 93.

The year 1900 A. D., as well as being the close of a century cycle, was the close, approximately speaking, of a 2,000-year cycle or astrological age, the Age of Pisces, and the dawn of a new 2,000-year age, the Age of Aquarius.TT. Hilarion.

With the incoming of the dawn of the New Age, The Temple was founded, in Syracuse, N. Y., in November 1898, two years inside the century so that there was no break in the line of the work being carried on. It was founded by the third–in point of time–of the Mahatmas [TT2@2] of the Theosophical Movement, the Master Hilarion.

Blavatsky suggests that the Piscean Age also came to a close at the end of the 19th century. She indicates that 2155 years elapsed between the start of the Age of Aries in 2410 BC and the start of the Piscean Age in 255 BC. If the Piscean Age also lasted 2155 years, the Aquarian Age would have begun in 1901 (= 2155 - 255 + 1) if 255 BC is a chronological date, or 1900 if it is an astronomical date. D. "Thus, I find this terribly relevant, because if I am wrong in my understanding that we ARE now in the Aquarian Age, and have available these 5th and 7th ray energies, then I am 'wrong on my day'. It is like showing up for Monday's work on Sunday. No one else is there. In fact, I think specificity is good. If I want to 'meet someone', I like them to be 'on time', so I don't have to wait, and not, for the sake of their efficiency, earlier than I. Recognizing that there is an overlap, like the transition of dusk or dawn, from darkness to light, I think it's really helpful to know whether I should be 'getting up' or 'going to bed'." VSK.

SDP: The length of time per degree is a vital question though. I figure a value of 69.4yrs or approximately 70yrs. Here is, simply put, the technical reason why (the basis of my reckoning) I do so beginning, as ever, with a vital reference from the Tibetan re the figure 2100yrs.

"Cycles connected with the twelve signs of the zodiac. These are primarily two in number:

a. Those which are connected with a complete zodiacal round, about 25,000 years.

b. Those which are connected with each of the twelve signs, and which come in and out of manifestation approximately every 2,100 years.

SDP: The 4th order sun solar zodiacal cycle is of 25,000yr duration. When we divide the solar age cycle of 25,000yrs by the 12 signs of the zodiac it equals 2083.333yrs per sign. This figure brings us to approximately 2,100 years as stated by DK. A value of 69.444yrs per degree is arrived at through dividing 2083.333yrs by the 30 degrees of a sign. The value of 70yrs per degree is arrived at through dividing the (approximate) 2,100yrs by the 30 degrees of a sign.

By the way, if we add the interlude period of 500yrs on to the figure 2083.333 we arrive again, at approximately 2,500yrs, the length of a 4th order solar zodiacal cycle.

From the time of the Gemini full Moon, May 26, 1945, the Work of the Christ in the Aquarian Age began. From that point He inaugurated the Aquarian Age that continues from that point “for two thousand five hundred years”. The Christ “definitely and consciously took over His duties and responsibilities as the Teacher and Leader during the Aquarian solar cycle”. (ROC83)

Humanities Initiation An Astronomical Fact:

Christ as the Forerunner of the Aquarian Age: People are very apt to overlook the fact that though Christ recognized His function as Teacher and spiritual Leader of humanity during the age which is so rapidly drawing to a close,

He also recognized the work which He would do when that age came to an end and the new astronomical cycle came into existence. RC 79.

This passing of the Sun into the sign Aquarius is an astronomical fact, as any one can ascertain by writing to any observatory;

The Aquarian age into which our sun is now in process of transiting. These are astronomical facts, for I am not here speaking of astrological conclusions. BC 19.

This is all part of the great illusion which astrology finds hard to grasp.

There is a constant moving and shifting in space; the precession of the equinoxes is both a fact and an illusion. EA 256.

The heavens, the constellations, signs and planets mean one thing to the Hierarchy and another thing to the astronomers and still another thing to the astrologer. EA 257.

That these figures are not fanciful, but are founded upon astronomical facts, has been demonstrated... TCF 41.

DK goes to some length it seems to demonstrate the terms "astronomical fact" this means fact from the point of view of humanity in time and space. It goes with out saying that from the point of view of hierarchy free from such restrictions things are more fluid, with precessional equinoxxes shifting and moving. But clearly demonstrated in my view/proposition, is that the masters definatly, for the needs of humanity, draw an illusionary line in the heavens, marking time and cycles as and when certain inner sigtnificances affect humanity in time and space.
